Open Studios December 2026
Yes we do plan ahead. We have set our open studios to be on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th December. (We are currently thinking whether we should expand it to be across the Sunday as well, but that will take more staffing and more volunteers, so not confirmed just yet.)
Our annual open studios is always buzzing in the run up to Christmas. We open all of our 20 artists' studios and have the first floor. There are free print demonstrations and our Under-the-Bed Sale is a chance to bag a bargain print as Christmas gifts; we have thousands of prints for sale from the talented artists/printmakers at Hot Bed Press.
There will also be a huge show of prints from the 20:20 Print Exchange which annually involves over 700 artists from around the UK and workshops around the world. We sell off previous years' prints as well to help raise money for Hot Bed Press and to support the exchange.
In fact each year we raise enough money to buy new equipment for Hot Bed Press which is our post Christmas excitement as a new press, rollers, screens, plan-chests etc. are added to our continually growing workshop.

How do I exhibit with Hot Bed Press?
If you want to show with Hot Bed Press you have to be a member. We have a few membership options including Associate Membership for those who can't get to us to print at Hot Bed, but would love you to have the opportunity to show and sell with us.
How do I hear about exhibitions quicker?
We update the website regularly, but the quickest and most direct ways of hearing about exhibitions, print fairs and other shows is to be on our mailing list* or to folllow us on social media. * To get on our mailing list for exhibitions phone us or email us at exhibitions@hotbedpress.org.

Come And Join Us
We welcome new members all year round. Anyone can join. You need a little bit of experience; but that can be from doing one of our weekend or evening courses, after which you can carry on and practice what you've learnt on the course.
