Regular User
introduction
Regular User membership gives you unlimited hours during open access. You can come in 5 days a week if you like! At the end of each session you don't have to pay for your hours just settle up for any materials used.
You can spot the regular users in the workshop, as they are the chatty, more relaxed members with as much time as they can spare to print and not clock watching.
As with Print Membership there is a Technician available during open access hours to help and support.
Regular User Membership is available as an ongoing membership or Print Members can apply for a 3 month upgrade after which they can drop back down to Print Membership (A very useful option if you are working towards an exhibition)

Have a question about our membership options?
faq's
If you have any questions about joining we are always happy to chat about membership and using our fantastic resources. Just give us a ring on 0161 743 3111. But below are some of the usual questions asked which might help...
How do I become a member?
We welcome new members any time of the year. We have two main types of membership, one pay as you go and one for open access. It's best to phone up to speak to Andy Magee, our Operations Manager, who manages all memberships. We can discuss whether you need an induction or are ready to start straight away. We can set up your membership straight away and your membership sheet, studio hours card and materials card will be ready for you when you first come in.
Do I need any experience to become a member?
We ask that you are comfortable and competent in the print processes you are interested in carrying on at Hot Bed Press. We have a mix of members from relative novices to experienced printmakers who sell their work at galleries and fairs and practice multi-disciplinary printmaking.
Do you have to do an induction before you start?
If you are unfamiliar with some aspects of the process you wanting to practice here, (screenprint, etching, relief print etc.), you may need to have an induction. You may for example have been on a course or done a degree some years ago and are unfamiliar with how we do things. We can arrange a 2 to 3 hour induction with a Technician to help you settle well in at Hot Bed Press.
Starting your membership
For your first session with us we would book you in the diary so that we make sure a Technician has time to help you, show you where things are and will be around for questions.
Can I try before I buy?
You can't use the workshop unless you are a member, but we are always happy to show anyone interested in being a member around before they set up their membership. You need to see our lovely workshop to see what you are getting access to. It would be hard to find anywhere better equipped.
