In the morning session Natalie will teach you the basics of screen printing on to fabric, choosing your own colour palette to create a unique print from a selection of floral and botanical imagery. Once your print has dried in the afternoon, you’ll learn how to use your fabric to make a 20cm lampshade to take away and brighten a corner of your home.
All materials will be provided, including refreshments but please bring your own packed lunch.

Natalie Laura Ellen
Natalie is a Textiles designer and Printmaker based in the Cheshire countryside. She studied Textiles and pattern design at University before working for a digital textiles and wallpaper manufacture in Manchester. Later she started her own business ‘Natalie Laura Ellen’, selling her pattern designs on homewares and stationery both online, at fairs and exhibitions along with having items stocked in a selection of shops around the country. Itching to develop her printmaking skills and get back in the art room, she enrolled on the 3 year Complete Printmaker course here at Hot Bed Press. Since completing the course she loves to create in the print workshop as often as she can.
