Summer Courses 2008 We are once again victims of our success! Sorry to those who missed out on places. Our courses are as popular as ever.
We are pleased to have enticed Anne Desmet to run a second wood engraving course in November; that is booked up 5 months in advance. You will also see that most of our courses are full. There are a couple of places left on Electric Printmaking, but that's it. Even the other two extra courses; Printmaking Starter Pack and Gum Arabic Transfer are already fully booked up

The lesson is book your place early. If you are on our mailing list then you will receive leaflets as soon as they are printed. [Members are given early bird notice of all courses before it goes to publicity.] If you want to be on our mailing list or to become a member please get in touch.
You will notice that there are 2 prices for courses. The reduced fee in brackets denotes members' rates and concessions. Anyone on benefits or earning below £7000p.a. is eligible to pay the lower rate. Full Print Members and Associate Members are also eligible to the lower fees. (However, this does not apply to Trial members.)
Cancellations Policy If in the unfortunate circumstances someone booked on a course cannot make it, we require 10 days notice in order to offer the place / re advertise. With at least 10 days notice we will reimburse full course fees. However, if less than 10 days notice is given we cannot guarantee a return of the money. We try and fill the place from our reserve . If someone can take your place we reimburse you in full. However if we cannot fill the place at such short notice we cannot make refunds.

Exhibitions in 2008 2008 sees a very busy exhibitions progamme for Hot Bed Press. We are currently showing at Touchstones in Rochdale until 7th September, (click on Exhibitions; A New Spirit in Printmaking in toolbar)
We will also be showing at the Central Gallery in Ashton, Tameside in September to November. Selection for that show will be invited from members in July.
We are already planning The Casket Works Open event in October which aims to bring together Hot Bed Press, Suite Studios and Cow Lane Studios, as well as linking to all studios in the Small Pond group, in Greater Manchester. In particular we hope to create morelinks with Islington Mill across the road. Watch this space for more details!
